You will find Sct. Bendts Church in Ringsted town centre, just a 10-minute walk from the outlet village. The church is Denmark’s oldest brick church, and from 1182 to 1341 Danish kings and queens were buried here, which is reflected in the church’s architecture, history and monuments, making it one of the finest in Denmark. Sct. Bendts Church was the first royal church in Denmark and is the resting place of King Valdemar I, Queen Dagmar and King Valdemar the Victorious.
