Located in South Zealand not far from Haslev, you will find Skovtårnet (“The Forest Tower”). Skovtårnet is part of the “Camp Adventure” climbing park, and with a height of 45 metres in an area located 135 metres above sea level, the view from the top is an experience in a class of its own. On a clear day, there are views all the way to Copenhagen, the Oresund Bridge and the Turning Torso in Malmö.
From the car park area, follow the winding boardwalks through the beautiful woodland, which is an experience in itself, until you reach the majestic tower in the middle of the forest.
Next, a 650 metre walk up the spiral ramp awaits, winding its way along the architecturally beautiful structure. The trip up is an amazing experience that culminates when you reach the top of the tower and are presented with a spectacular 360-degree view of the Zealand landscape.
Along with Skovtårnet you will also find Denmark’s largest climbing park, where 10 different climbing courses of varying difficulty challenge both children and adults. On the courses, you move from tree to tree using zip wires or obstacles. The courses are completed well above ground level, so if you’re afraid of heights, this might not be your thing. Fortunately, safety is top-notch, as you will be provided with safety equipment before the start and a professional instructor will show you how to use it.
On average, it takes about 45 minutes to complete a course and most guests stay in the climbing park for about 4 hours, so you’re guaranteed to experience amazing scenery and natural soreness and tiredness afterwards.
